Spiritual Awakenings for Children & Youth
Spiritual Awakenings Classes are suspended for the summer. We will restart classes on September 30 with our Kick-off event.
Sunday Morning Spiritual Awakenings - 9:30am
· Children (pre-school through grades 5)
· Youth (middle school and high school)
Nursery - provided for infants/toddlers beginning at 10:30am during worship for Infants through Preschool 3-5 years - Room 204.
Spiritual Awakenings” for Children - “Growing in Grace and Gratitude”, the name of our curriculum, is also happening in our classroom. We are studying the story of Abraham and his descendants. The stories are acted out and the activities help us to think about others. Built into the curriculum is practicing Worship skills; we are sharing the peace, singing the doxology and responding to God’s Word when it’s read. We are getting ready to add the Lord’s Prayer.
If you have a child 5th Grade and younger, please bring them to our class. We begin with singing at 9:00 and class starts at 9:30. In fact, you are welcome to join us as well if you don’t have a class to go to. The last survey of our children was a couple of weeks ago and they gave the class 8 out of 10. AWESOME!

Children's Events Throughout the Year
Each December, our children have the opportunity to star in our Christmas play. This is one of the congregation’s favorite events, and it really helps children, youth, and adults slow down amidst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to remember what is truly important about Christmas.
We also do an Easter Egg Hunt for children every year, and this year we hosted a breakfast on Easter Sunday during the Sunday School hour along with our Egg Hunt.
